By ABC NEWS (Australia)Published : March 21, 2024 - 15:32
Police say today's fresh search for Ballarat woman, Samantha Murphy, has not found any trace of the 51-year-old. Police have been combing an undisclosed area within the Ballarat region with assistance from the Australian federal police technical detection dogs, searching for items such as phone sim cards. This afternoon, a police spokesperson said there was no update and the search was winding up. Yesterday, a search of bushland at Buninyong, south of Ballarat, was launched but was unsuccessful. The renewed search was not triggered by any information from the man accused of her murder.
