SA budget to put more doctors on weekend shifts to ease bed block

More doctors and health professionals will be asked to work weekends in South Australian hospitals in the latest bid to ease emergency department congestion. The $67 million policy is aimed at stopping the Monday bed block, when overcrowding in the system typically hits hardest.
