Court sets October 4th as new start date for Higgins trial

Journalist Lisa Wilkinson has agreed to give an undertaking not to comment further on the alleged rape of former Liberal staffer Brittany Higgins. The ACT Supreme Court deferred the trial of the man accused of sexually assaulting Ms Higgins at Parliament House, due to intense media attention in the wake of Ms Wilkinson's speech at the Logies.
