The Liberal Party is desperate to pick up seats off Labor in Victoria, and while Insiders concede it is tough it has been eyeing off McEwen on Melbourne's boundary. It's an area where a rise in support for conservative third parties like Clive Palmer's United Australia Party could have an influence on the result. As our State Political Reporter Richard Willingham reports there is some frustration with the major parties at early voting centres.
