A backpacker’s hostel in Byron Bay on the New South Wales north coast is in lockdown over a new COVID scare, the source of the outbreak is believe to be a traveller from Melbourne. Today's COVID figures for NSW are 276 new cases continuing that trend over the past few weeks of cases in the 100 to 300 range and no new deaths.
