A man in his 20s was arrested Monday for walking naked on Korea University’s Anam campus in Seoul.
Seoul Seongbuk Police Station said officers responding to a report arrested the man on campus at around 2:30 p.m. on charges of public indecency. Police said he had no affiliation with the university.
The arrest comes after several incidents involving naked men in Seoul in recent months, including an alleged sexual assault on a university campus.
In August, a naked man wearing a black mask allegedly sexually assaulted a student outside a dormitory at Yonsei University’s Sinchon campus and fled.
A naked, masked man was also reported to have sexually assaulted a passerby on the Ansan Jarak-gil walking trail in Seodaemun-gu, western Seoul, on June 12, according to police. On July 21, another report described a naked man wearing a mask hiding in bushes near the trail.
