[2] Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, which depicts a devastating second Korean War triggered by a surprise North Korean attack, has become an unlikely political talking point in Seoul, with opposition politicians urging President Lee Jae Myung to pick up a controller and experience the consequences of what they describe as his administration's overly conciliatory approach toward Pyongyang.

[4] While the game's dramatic portrayal of conflict on the Korean Peninsula has captivated gamers, it has also provided opposition lawmakers with fresh ammunition against Lee's North Korea policy, considering the 1950-53 Korean War was halted with an armistice rather than a peace treaty, leaving the two Koreas technically still at war.
