ULSAN, South Korea, Sept. 21, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- On September 21, 2026, Arkema announces that it has secured new tank storage capacity of 3,000 m³ for Glacial Acrylic Acid (GAA) at the Ulsan HDOT terminal in Korea. The new facility will be part of Arkema's broader efforts to support growing demand for acrylic-based applications across Asia.
The new tank will serve as a local storage hub for Arkema's GAA business in Korea. With domestic storage capacity in place, Arkema will be able to provide more differentiated, reliable supplies to Korean customers.
Beyond its role in Korea, this project marks an important step in Arkema's strategy to further develop the GAA market in Northeast Asia. By adding a local storage node to its regional supply network, Arkema will strengthen the connection between regional supply capabilities, logistics and market operations, supporting a more integrated supply setup for the region.
