South Korea will see wide temperature swings on Friday, starting with a chilly morning before daytime highs reach up to 30 degrees Celsius.
Morning lows are expected to range from 10 C to 20 C, with afternoon highs of 24 C to 30 C. Inland areas could see temperature swings of 10 C to 15 C.
Cool air carried by a high-pressure system moving from northeastern China toward the northern East Sea will keep conditions relatively mild, though abundant sunshine will push daytime temperatures higher.
Seoul will see temperatures ranging from a low of 15 C to a high of 28 C. Incheon will range from 16 C to 26 C, Daejeon from 15 C to 26 C, Gwangju from 17 C to 30 C, Daegu from 17 C to 28 C and Busan from 20 C to 28 C.
Dense fog could limit visibility to under 200 meters in parts of inland and mountainous Gangwon Province.
High swells are expected along the eastern and Jeju coasts, with waves reaching up to 3.5 meters in waters off southeastern Korea and Jeju Island.
