Lotte held the 2026 Lotte Global Job Fair in Jakarta, Indonesia, on Wednesday. Nine affiliates, including Lotte Chemical, Lotte Department Store, Lotte Mart and Lotte Global Logistics, took part in the event to recruit 300 locals.
Lotte introduced its business opportunities and offered career consultations and mock interviews with current employees to about 600 job seekers. Promotional booths and prize events were also available.
The group held its first global job fair in Hanoi, Vietnam, in August 2025. It chose Indonesia for its second event.
Lotte operates 12 units in Indonesia across retail, chemicals, logistics, IT and construction. The group entered the country with Lotte Mart in 2008 and recorded more than 2 trillion won ($1.49 billion) in local sales last year, with about 8,000 employees.
The job fair will be followed by Global Campus Recruiting at major universities. The program provides career consultations to students and connects them with hiring opportunities.
Lotte will hold campus recruiting at major universities in Hanoi in October.
“Global Job Fair gives local job seekers an opportunity to learn about our affiliates’ businesses and roles in one place and speak directly with employees,” a Lotte official said. “We will continue to connect with talented people overseas through various recruitment activities, including visits to local universities.”
