Seoul tops favorite cities for Gen Z, millennials for fifth year
서울, 5년 연속 Z세대·밀레니얼 세대가 가장 선호하는 도시로 선정
Seoul has been named the world’s favorite city among millennial and Generation Z travelers for the fifth consecutive year in an annual survey by US-based media outlet Trazee Travel.
서울이 미국 매체 트래지 트래블(Trazee Travel)이 매년 실시하는 설문조사에서 5년 연속 밀레니얼 세대와 Z세대 여행객이 가장 선호하는 도시로 선정됐다.
Seoul has held the top spot since 2022, making it the first city to win the title for five consecutive years. The city was also awarded Quint Status for its consecutive wins and inducted into the Hall of Fame.
서울은 2022년부터 1위를 차지해 5년 연속 이 타이틀을 거머쥔 첫 도시가 됐다. 연속 수상으로 ‘퀸트 스테이터스(Quint Status)’도 수여받았으며 명예의 전당(Hall of Fame)에도 이름을 올렸다.
Dublin, Hong Kong, London and Athens, Greece rounded out the top five.
더블린, 홍콩, 런던, 그리스 아테네가 뒤를 이어 상위 5개 도시에 포함됐다.
The recognition highlights how younger travelers are experiencing Seoul beyond its well-known landmarks. Many are increasingly drawn to the city’s everyday culture, including Korean food and beauty, fashion, pop-up stores, vintage shopping and urban hiking.
이번 선정은 젊은 여행객들이 서울의 잘 알려진 명소를 넘어 도시를 경험하고 있다는 점을 보여준다. 많은 여행객들이 한국 음식과 뷰티, 패션, 팝업스토어, 빈티지 쇼핑, 도심 하이킹 등 서울의 일상적인 문화에 점점 더 끌리고 있는 것으로 나타났다.
