Fried apple dumplings are crispy dumplings filled with a sweet apple-cinnamon mixture. The contrast between the golden, crunchy exterior and the soft, fragrant apple center makes them irresistible. Topped with powdered sugar and caramel sauce, these treats are perfect for dessert or a cozy afternoon snack.

Ingredients:
- 1 apple
- 10 sheets square dumpling wrappers
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- a small amount cinnamon powder
- ½ tablespoon lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons cider
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with water
- a small amount powdered sugar
- a small amount caramel sauce
Instructions:

Peel the apple, remove the core, and dice it into 0.5-centimeter cubes. Prepare the butter, sugar, cinnamon powder, lemon juice and cider.

Melt the butter completely in a pan and mix in the sugar.

Add the diced apple and saute for about 3 minutes. Then add the cider, lemon juice and cinnamon powder, and cook for another 2 minutes.
Adjust the thickness with the cornstarch mixture and let it cool at room temperature for about 20 minutes.

Place about 1 and 1/3 tablespoons (20 grams) of the filling from step 4 onto a 7 by 7-centimeter square dumpling wrapper. Cover with another dumpling wrapper and seal the edges together.
When wisps of vapor rise from the frying oil, fry the apple wontons for about 3 to 4 minutes until golden brown. Finish by sprinkling powdered sugar and drizzling caramel sauce.
Tip: After sealing the filling between two wrappers, press the edges with a fork to create a neater and prettier wonton shape.
