Ingredients:

  • 200 grams pumpkin
  • 5 1/2 cups (1 liter) water
  • 10 grams pine nuts
  • 10 grams walnuts
  • 10 grams agar powder
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Instructions:

Peel the pumpkin, steam it and strain it through a sieve. Toast the pine nuts and walnuts in a frying pan and chop finely.

In a deep pot, add the water, pumpkin, agar powder and sugar. Stir well with a wooden spatula over low heat.

After about 30 minutes, when the mixture has thickened somewhat, add the honey, pine nuts and walnuts. Pour the mixture into a wide mold and let it set completely.

Tip: Agar can clump if it sticks to the pot, so be sure to mix thoroughly before bringing it to a boil!
