South Korea's central bank has said it will sell 6.6 trillion won ($4.51 billion) worth of monetary stabilization bonds in March.

The planned issuance marked a 500 billion won increase from a month earlier, according to the Bank of Korea.

The MSB is a policy tool devised to control excess liquidity in the markets. It is sold to financial institutions and individuals. (Yonhap)
