The English Premier League has seen only a select few players achieve the remarkable milestone of 70 goals and 70 assists in their careers. Recently, Tottenham Hotspur’s South Korean captain Son Heung-min became the 11th player to join the prestigious 70-70 club. This achievement underscores not only Son’s goal-scoring prowess but also his exceptional playmaking skills, highlighting his all-around impact on the pitch.
As of Sunday, following a performance where he recorded two assists, the 33-year-old forward has accumulated 126 goals and 71 assists in his ninth year in the EPL.
The 70-70 club has eluded even legendary players such as David Beckham, Alan Shearer, Harry Kane and Michael Owen.
