The mobile museum operated by the Korea Heritage Service will make more stops across the country to provide immersive cultural experiences, including up-close views of artifacts and virtual heritage site tours.

From March to November, the Korea Heritage Service will operate the mobile museum in the Jeolla provinces and on Jeju Island, with the aim of serving underprivileged students, people with disabilities and seniors who have difficulty accessing museums and cultural activities.

This year, the agency will select 100 schools and institutions to host the mobile museum, up from the previous 60.

The mobile will be stationed in one place for up to three days, according to the agency. It also encouraged schools and institutions to apply for mobile museum visits.
