South Korea’s passports have again ranked among the most powerful in the world, allowing holders to enter 192 countries without a visa.

According to the 2025 Henley Passport Index, published by British citizenship advisory firm Henley & Partners, South Korea was tied for 3rd place in terms of passport power, alongside Finland, France, Germany, Italy and Spain.

South Korea previously ranked 3rd in January 2020, climbed to 2nd place the following year, and has consistently maintained its position among the top ranks.

In this year’s rankings, Singapore retained the top spot for the second consecutive year, with Japan securing 2nd place. The Henley Passport Index is based on data from the International Air Transport Association, which tracks the number of countries that passport holders can enter without a visa or with visa-on-arrival access.
