Starting in the first quarter of next year, local fast-food chain Mom's Touch will launch burgers crafted by celebrity chef Edward Lee, known for his appearance on the Netflix competition “Culinary Class Wars.”

According to Lee, his menu items for Mom's Touch includes signature recipes from his restaurant in the US.

"I’m thrilled to bring the flavors of burgers and chicken, which I love, to the Korean audience through this partnership with Mom's Touch," said Lee in a press statement Monday.

Lee, who finished as the runner-up on “Culinary Class Wars” and had served as a guest chef at the White House during a South Korea-US summit last year, began his culinary career over 30 years ago. After graduating from a university in New York, he started working in restaurants as a dishwasher and went on to develop a unique cooking style that blends Korean and Western influences.

Lee's burgers will be available at 1,400 Mom's Touch locations around the country, according to the company.
