Samsung SDS, Samsung Group’s IT unit, is seeking to expand its overseas business after signing a deal to supply its latest innovative retail solution Nexshop to Samsung Electronics and other global businesses, company officials said Monday.

According to the company, Nexshop helps companies enhance marketing and retail management, boosts employees’ sales capabilities, and maximizes promotion effects.

Nexshop is being used in all mobile device shops run by Samsung Electronics across the world.

Samsung SDS recently concluded an agreement with Zoopla, a major British real estate consulting firm, on business cooperation to make it possible for its property franchise shops to provide “smart services” to buyers.

On the customers’ side, users of the U.K.-based real estate portal can go on a virtual reality tour of the building and so on, the company said through a statement.

The latest business achievement was that a German automobile firm operating in China signed a deal with Samsung SDS to incorporate Nexshop in their business in July, according to the company official.

“Major global companies are beginning to look into Nexshop, as it is utilized in all Samsung retail stores worldwide,” said Hong Won-pyo, president of Samsung SDS’ solutions unit.
