Hyundai Motor keeps top slot in satisfaction survey in China
By KH디지털2Published : July 1, 2015 - 09:30
Hyundai Motor Co., South Korea's top automaker, said Wednesday that it ranked first in consumer sales satisfaction in China for the second straight year among volume car manufacturers.
The survey conducted by global marketing company J.D. Power showed Hyundai Motor received the highest score of 812 points out of 1,000 in China in its "sales satisfaction index" among 71 companies.
The score was highest ever since the survey started in 2000. It was also much better than this year's market average of 682 points.
Kia Motors Corp., its smaller affiliate, came in fifth in the latest survey.
J.D. Power conducts the survey on sales satisfaction every year based on its analysis of customer response, dealer network and other sales-related capacity of each company.
The index is a main gauge of each company's sales capacity and customer confidence. This year's survey reflected opinions of over 15,000 local customers who bought a car from July last year to February this year. (Yonhap)
