JYP Entertainment, home to K-pop star acts such as 2PM and Miss A, Tuesday denied a local report suggesting the possible comeback of one of its earliest acts, Wonder Girls.

“Nothing has been decided yet (regarding Wonder Girls),” a high-ranking official at JYP told The Korea Herald.

Rumors have abounded as to whether the group, disintegrated in 2013, will really break its three-year-long hiatus, and if so, what changes will be made to the original lineup.

Wonder Girls gained huge popularity in 2007 and 2008 with retro hits “Tell Me” and “Nobody,” with which they became the first K-pop act ever to land on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, in 2009. The group briefly enjoyed fame overseas, touring in the U.S. and Japan.

Wonder Girls disintegrated in 2013 and leader Sunye is now married with a daughter and lives in Canada, while member Sohee is pursuing an acting career under the management of BH Entertainment.
