Shortly after the return of formerly enlisted K-pop star Lee Teuk, the members of Super Junior are not only gearing up for their upcoming “Super Show 6” series, but will also be dropping their seventh full studio album “Mamacita” next month.

According to a press release from SM Entertainment on Thursday, Super Junior will be dropping its new album on Sept. 1, more than two years after the release of the group’s previous “Sexy, Free & Single” sixth album.

Although last year the group released two J-pop EPs, the upcoming album will mark the act’s first local release since the single “Spy,” which came out shortly after Super Junior’s sixth album in 2012.

The group is slated to perform its newest singles prior to the album’s release via KBS “Music Bank” next week on Aug. 29, followed by performances on MBC’s “Music Core” and SBS “Inkigayo” on Aug. 30 and 31, respectively.

Officials at SM Entertainment also unveiled a teaser image of the group, where the 10 members sport Wild West attire, dressed in vests and cowboy hats.

Following the group’s televised promotional performances, Super Junior will hold three concerts from Sept. 19-21 in Seoul as part of the official launch of the act’s “Super Show 6” world tour.

The world tour also marks a special feat for the veteran K-pop stars, as the upcoming Sept. 21 performance in Seoul will be the international Super Show concert series’ 100th show since it first launched in 2008.

The Super Show series has thus far included three Asia tours and two world tours, attracting more than 1.3 million K-pop fans in total.

The upcoming Super Show 6 three-day Seoul run will be held at the Indoor Stadium at Jamil Sports Complex. After their local performances, the members will head to China, Japan and Taiwan as well as other countries and venues to be announced later in the year.
