Labor and Greens call for inquiry into media diversity

Labor and the Greens have recommended a judicial inquiry with powers matching that of a royal commission into media diversity, ownership and regulation. Greens senator Sarah Hanson-Young won support to set up the inquiry a year ago following the popularity of Kevin Rudd's petition for a royal commission into Murdoch Media.
