反이민자정책으로 논란에 휩싸인 도널드 트럼프 미국 대통령에게 조만간 저주가 내릴 예정이다.
23일 (현지시간) 허핑턴 포스트에 따르면, 최근 인터넷에서는 스스로 마녀라고 믿는 커뮤니티를 대상으로 “도널드 트럼프를 제지하는 마법을 걸어달라”고 청원하는 익명의 문서가 배포되고 있다고 한다.
이 문서는 이름을 밝히기 거부한 마법사 협회에 의해 만들어졌으며, 자세한 방법과 준비물, 그리고 현지시간으로 24일에 처음으로 “마법”을 걸 것을 지시하고 있다.
이후 3월 26일, 4월 24일, 5월 23일에 단체주문이 행해질 예정이고, 이후에도 일정이 잡히면 계속 진행될 예정이라고 한다.
마법을 포함해 초자연적인 현상에 대해 글을 써 기고하는 마이클 M. 휴즈는 허핑턴 포스트와의 인터뷰에서 이 주문이 트럼프를 해하고자 하는 것이 아니며 그를 제지하는 것이라고 강조했다.
해당 주문의 준비물은 다음과 같다. 트럼프 대통령의 “보기 안 좋은(unflattering)” 사진, 탑이 그려진 타롯 카드, 오렌지색 양초나 당근 한 조각, 작은 핀이나 못, 하얀 초, 물이 담긴 작은 그릇, 소금이 담긴 작은 그릇, 아무 종류의 깃털, 성냥이나 라이터, 재떨이 혹은 모래가 담긴 그릇.
