Mark, formerly of NCT, will put out the single “Happiest” on Nov. 6, according to Upper Room on Tuesday.
He unveiled a preview clip for the single on Monday before showing himself grooving to the music amid a group of dancers, giving a sample of the soon-to-be-released single in a snippet.
“Happiest” is an alternative pop R&B tune. The performer sings of finding true happiness inside, rather than measuring against other people’s standards.
The new song comes about two months since Mark dropped the digital single “My Friend,” a medium-tempoed song he co-authored. It marked the first new music from Mark since he left NCT and SM Entertainment, topping iTunes songs charts in four regions.
