Travelers fill Incheon Airport on Wednesday, a day before the four-day Chuseok holiday begins, as families and tourists head overseas.

Incheon Airport is expecting about 1.14 million passengers during the Chuseok travel period that starts Thursday.

The airport is opening major departure gates 30 minutes earlier and deploying additional security screening staff and equipment to manage the holiday travel surge.
