Hybe Latin America’s boy group Santos Bravos picked up two awards at this year’s Premios Juventud (Youth Awards), adding to the five-member group’s growing presence in the Latin music market.
Santos Bravos won awards for favorite group or duo of the year and male new generation at the 23rd annual Premios Juventud, Thursday in Marbella, Spain.
Organized by TelevisaUnivision, Premios Juventud is one of the best-known awards shows in Latin pop culture, recognizing artists and creators across music, television and digital content, with winners determined by fan votes.
“We are incredibly happy and grateful to receive such meaningful awards,” said Santos Bravos, as quoted in a press release issued by Hybe. “Our fans are such a huge part of every moment we are experiencing, which makes these awards even more special to us.”
The group also performed “Velocidade,” which means "speed," from its debut EP “Dual.” The performance was slightly altered specifically for Premios Juventud with a never-before-seen dance break.
Formed through a reality series under Hybe Latin America, the quintet — Drew, Alejandro, Kaue, Gabi and Kenneth — debuted in Mexico in October 2025 after undergoing K-pop-style training as part of Hybe’s “multihome, multigenre” strategy led by Chairman Bang Si-hyuk.
The group's debut EP “Dual” peaked at No. 17 on Billboard’s Latin pop chart, while related video content has accumulated more than 500 million views, according to Hybe Latin America.
Since its debut, the group held its first standalone live events, titled “Sesion Dual,” in Lima, Peru and Sao Paulo in May, with both shows selling out.
Santos Bravos have expanded their festival appearances, performing before more than 20,000 people at Mexico's Tecate Emblema. Most recently, the group performed at KCON LA as the first Latin group to join the event's lineup.
