Korea on Saturday held a nationwide public servant exam for Grade 9 government officials on Saturday.

According to the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, 119,066 people applied for the tests that will eventually accept 13,596 applicats.

This year's public servant exam for Grade 9 government officials, which is the lowest level among civil servants, marked the lowest competition rate in the last five years.
