A drunken argument between two fishing workers working in Korea has led to one stabbing another to death, police officials in Jangheung, South Jeolla Province, said Wednesday.
Jangheung Police Station is currently investigating the 36-year-old suspect for murder that occurred at around 1:40 p.m. on Tuesday. Both the suspect and the victim were Vietnamese workers who lived in the same residential compound.
The two were drinking together on the day of the crime and had an argument, during which the suspect stabbed the victim multiple times with a knife.
Both men were staying here under valid working visas, since a year ago for the victim and since six months ago for the suspect.
Investigators are questioning other co-workers of the suspect and the victim for details, and plan to request a warrant the suspect's official arrest to the court.
