SM Entertainment will expand the forest it donated in partnership with Seoul, the metropolitan government said Wednesday.
The label signed a memorandum with the city on Tuesday to contribute to the third phase of the forest expansion and maintenance of the site, which began as 400 square meters of land in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, in 2023. Named "Kwangya Forest," it now stretches over 1280 square meters and has become increasingly sustainable.
The entertainment company also joined hands with Samsung Electronics and launched a channel on the latter’s ad-based streaming service, the techn firm said Wednesday.
Samsung TV Plus, a free service, now has an SMTown channel, offering music, music videos and special clips featuring major artists from the label, including NCT, aespa and Riize. It is available for viewers in 18 countries.
