Seventeen will mark the tenth anniversary of its debut with fifth studio album, said agency Pledis Entertainment on Tuesday.
It will release LP “Happy Burstday” on May 26, about three years since the previous LP “Face the Sun” and seven months after 12th EP “Spill The Feels.”
The mini album hit Billboard 200 at No. 5 and sold over 3 million copies in the first week. It cinched platinum certification in Japan and topped Oricon’s Daily and Weekly Album Ranking.
The fourth LP ranked No. 7 on Billboard 200 and sold over 2 million in the first week, making the band the only K-pop artist beside BTS to do so.
In the meantime, the 13-member team will hold a fan meetup in Osaka, Japan on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. It is set to host another in Saitama next month.
