Astro has announced a long-awaited concert, joined by former member Rocky.
Fantagio, the group's agency, announced the upcoming concert, its first in three years, by unveiling a poster for the show on its social media platforms.
The poster features the silhouettes of all six Astro members, including the late Moonbin, who passed away in 2023, and former member Rocky.
This will be Astro’s first solo concert since the show in May 2022 at Jamsil Indoor Stadium, Seoul.
According to Fantagio, discussions about a concert began in February during the release of the group’s 9th-anniversary single, “Twilight.” The company explained that the members expressed a strong desire to reconnect with fans, which ultimately led to the decision to hold the long-awaited concert.
“As this concert will be held under the name 'Astro' for the first time in a while, we had in-depth discussions with the members and extended an invitation to Rocky, a former member, to be part of the performance,” said Fantagio.
Rocky is expected to take the stage alongside Astro members, performing songs he had sung during his time with the group.
Rocky debuted as a member of Astro in 2016 and departed from the group in February 2023 after the expiration of his exclusive contract with Fantagio. Since then, he has continued his career independently under the one-man agency One Fine Day Entertainment.
