Stray Kids earned a platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan with their second single in the country.

The physical single “Scars / Thunderous -– Japanese ver. -- ” logged 250,000 shipments as of last week. The single was released in October 2021, and “Scars,” one of the three tracks, topped the iTunes Top Songs Chart in 32 regions as well as Line Music’s Weekly Songs Top 100.

Meanwhile, the band of eight will visit Japan in May for its “Dominate” world tour. Stray Kids will go live in Shizuoka on May 10-11 and 17-18, returning to the country about five months after their Osaka show in December. The three-show gig in Osaka, combined with another three concerts in Tokyo held in November, drew approximately 315,000 fans.
