The UAE Embassy in Seoul hosted the Emirati Values Iftar in Seoul on Saturday.
The initiative is part of Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, regarded as the mother of the nation in the UAE, who also serves as chairwoman of the General Women's Union, supreme chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, and president of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood.
“Our authentic values are deeply rooted in our past, passed down from our founding fathers, and continue to guide us to this day,” Soheila Al Khayal of the Federal Youth Authority said in her welcoming remarks.

The initiative empowers youth to promote Emirati values, enhance Emirati-foreign resident interactions, and highlight the UAE’s model of tolerance. It has engaged over 70 nationalities through more than 185 iftar gatherings to reinforce inclusivity and cultural exchange.
The embassy emphasized that iftar reflects the UAE's core values of brotherhood and solidarity while also highlighting diversity and offering prayers for blessings, peace, and goodwill for all.

Held during the holy month of Ramadan, the guests in Seoul included UAE Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi, embassy officials, and representatives from Saudi Arabia, Oman and Qatar.
Also in attendance were members of the Emirati community in Seoul, representatives of private companies, and foreign residents who joined in breaking fast together.
