It's still chilly outside, but music festivals to warm us up in the spring and early summer are being announced one by one.

With a lineup centered around popular artists and a variety of travel-themed events, the festival Have a Nice Day is set to delight music fans in April.

This year’s Have a Nice Day will take place April 12-13 at Sangsang Platform in Jung-gu, Incheon. A unique space, Sangsang Platform was once Korea's first grain warehouse, but was reborn as a cultural complex where the past and present coexist. The festival has previously transformed the venue with an airport theme, sparking curiosity about how Sangsang Platform will be reimagined this year.

The first lineup features 14 acts, ranging from festival favorites to rising music chart-toppers. On April 12, the lineup includes Melomance, N.Flying, Paul Kim and Owalloil, while on April 13, 10CM, Hong Isaac, So Soo-bin and Soran will take the stage. A further lineup will be announced on March 6.

The world's largest EDM festival, Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), which started in Los Angeles in 1997, is returning to Korea for the first time in six years.

2025 EDC Korea will be held April 25-26 at Inspire Resort, Incheon. Hosted by One Pulse Group, this year’s festival boasts an impressive lineup of 67 acts, including 42 international artists and 25 domestic ones.

The lineup features world-class DJs, including Martin Garrix, Steve Aoki, Skrillex, Peggy Gou and Illenium, all leading figures in the global EDM scene. Also performing will be 25 domestic artists such as 2Spade, 5STA and Advanced.

In addition to the lineup of top-tier DJs, EDC is reportedly planning to collaborate with local Korean sculptors to create unique themed spaces that showcase Korean culture. The festival aims to offer a visually captivating experience with a variety of themed zones that highlight Korea's distinct character.

2025 Lovesome Festival has also unveiled its first lineup of eight artists.

The festival will take place April 26-27 at Nanji Hangang Park in Seoul.

On April 26, singer-songwriters 10CM, Hong Isaac, Han Ro Ro and rising artist Kim Soo-young will perform. On April 27, a band-centric lineup awaits, featuring Lee Seung-yoon, known for his passionate performances and deep lyrics, along with Daybreak, the talented rock band Touched, and The Solutions, pioneers of future pop through their unique blend of genres.

The Lovesome Festival has been held every spring since 2019, presenting a distinctive concept of a musical picnic combined with literature. Each year, a special book is selected to enhance this experience. This year, the main theme book is “Van Gogh: Soul Letters,” which explores the life of the legendary painter.

Korea's largest EDM event, the World DJ Festival, is set to deliver a spectacular show this year.

The World DJ Festival 2025 will be held June 14-15 at Seoul Land in Gwacheon.

This year’s festival will feature top global DJs, including Matteo Milleri, who recently shot to stardom with his performance at the Sphere in Las Vegas, along with DJ Snake, Alesso, Dubvision and Alan Walker. Anyma, known for delivering surreal experiences that blur the line between reality and the digital world, will also present a shocking performance.

Additionally, in June, the festival will make its debut overseas, hosting an event at Makuhari Messe in Japan, marking the first time a Korean EDM festival brand has been exported abroad. EDM festivals in Korea typically import lineups and stage settings from overseas, but the World DJ Festival is breaking with the trend by expanding internationally.
