Karina of aespa will reportedly appear in G Dragon’s upcoming music video, according to local media Thursday.

G Dragon’s agency Galaxy Corporation declined to confirm the report, which claimed that Karina finished shooting for a B-side track music video from the artist’s upcoming third solo studio album, “Ubermensch.”

She had appeared in music videos of other musicians: SHINee’s Taemin (“Want”) and TVXQ’s U-Know (“Vuja De”) in 2019 and 2023, respectively.

G Dragon’s LP is due out Feb. 25 and will consist of eight tracks including prereleases “Power” and “Home Sweet Home.” In March, he will embark on an international tour.

In the meantime, aespa is set to go live in Toronto, Canada Thursday and in Chicago, US Saturday for the American leg of its ongoing tour. The tour will continue in Europe next month.

BTS’ Jin tops 2024 solo album sales in Korea

The first solo album from Jin of BTS was Korea's most-sold album in 2024, said label Big Hit Music Thursday citing a local tally.

His first solo EP “Happy” was released in November 2024 and sold more than 973,000 copies. The six-track album sold around 953,000 units in the first week.

The EP hit the Billboard 200 at No. 4, the and main track “Running Wild” debuted on Billboard’s Hot 100 at No. 53, two rungs lower than his first solo entry “The Astronaut.”

The album topped the iTunes Top Albums Chart in 48 regions as did the lead single on its Top Songs Chart in 70. On Spotify, “Running Wild” amassed 200 million plays as of January.
