New dance track 'Lucky' sings of courage, hope
Legendary singer Kim Wan-sun announced a fresh collaboration with Red Velvet’s Seulgi, delivering courage and energy to listeners.
Kim and Seulgi’s duet song “Lucky” will be released on Jan. 15 at 6 p.m. The music video is expected to showcase their chemistry that transcends their 25-year age difference.
The dance track with the message that walking away from a relationship can be a blessing in disguise was written, composed, arranged and produced by J.Y. Park, an iconic performer and the founder of K-pop powerhouse JYP Entertainment.
Kim previously collaborated with Park on the choreography for his music video "Changed Man," released in November 2023. Kim’s agency KWSunflower revealed that Park created “Lucky” as a gift of appreciation for that collaboration.
KWSunflower also shared that the choreography for “Lucky” was created by the renowned dance crew Lachica, known for their fame through the Mnet dance survival show "Street Woman Fighter."
