Harman International, a wholly owned automotive and audio subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co., on Wednesday unveiled its new "automotive intelligence" technologies at CES 2025, aiming to deliver personalized in-cabin experiences through advanced intelligence and contextual awareness.

"The automotive industry is rapidly transitioning to software-defined vehicles, with cars evolving into smartphones on wheels," Samsung Electronics Vice President Yoon Jun-o told reporters during a press event at the annual tech show that opened Tuesday.

"Harman is uniquely positioned to lead this evolution, combining Samsung's expertise in information technology, artificial intelligence and diverse business portfolios, including smartphones, wearables and health care services."

Harman debuted its "Ready Product" solution, which integrates its proprietary "Brain, Sense and Voice" technologies to enable more personalized and safer automotive driving.

A highlight of its exhibition is the "Luna" avatar powered by Ready Engage, Harman's new emotionally intelligent AI system.

Luna enables natural interactions with the driver through voice and visuals and is displayed on Harman's augmented reality head-up display, "Ready Vision QVUE."

"Ready Aware," a software solution leveraging digital twins and machine learning algorithms, enhances driver's situational awareness with a focus on traffic lights and road hazards.

Additionally, "Ready Link Market Place," a digital app store for infotainment, features partnerships with over 150 brands, including Paramount+ and Boosteroid.

Enhancing the in-cabin entertainment experience, Harman Kardon's latest application gives passengers control over car speakers, while "Aura Lighting" technology synchronizes real-time lighting effects with music. (Yonhap)
