Gwanghwamun Market
Craft shops and food stalls will be open for year-end celebrations at Gwanghwamun Square through Sunday.
Now in its third year, the market is open from 6 to 10 p.m., hosting more than 100 mom-and-pop shops and 80 stalls.

Pyeongchang Trout Festival
Since 1998, the Pyeongchang Trout Festival has drawn visitors ready to brave freezing temperatures to catch trout beneath the ice.
The festival is running at Odaecheon, a stream in Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province, through Feb. 2.

3D exhibition in Gangneung
Check out an immersive exhibition of Korean cultural objects at Arte Museum in Gangneung, Gangwon Province.
Through February, the show “Heritage Garden: Threads of Connection” showcases 146 items, from celadon to moon jars.

Winter at Daegu’s Nature Park
Come and see how animals spend winter at Daegu’s Nature Park, a zoo open daily except Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m through March 2.
Zoo animals range from lions and tigers to peacocks and parrots, with winter flowers like camellias at separate spaces.
