When the opponent is attacking you from above and you are on the ground, you must cover your head and face with both hands and arms as shown in the photo.
This self-defense technique is used when the opponent is shorter than you.
1. Cross your hands and arms into an X in front of your face to protect your face and head from any blows from the opponent.
2. From this position, push the opponent’s upper body with both hands to make the opponent lean backwards.
3. Place your foot on the opponent’s chest.
4. Push the opponent further backwards with force as shown in the picture.
The success of this technique depends on how fast your foot reaches the opponent’s chest.
Use the heel of your foot to push the opponent for best results.
