In the poster, Heroine Nam Sang-mi is desperately hanging onto the gunman, played by actor Lee Jun-gi, with the phrase “I will protect you, no matter what” suggesting that a historical upheaval lays ahead.

The Wednesday-Thursday night series is a historical action-romance drama about the last swordsman of the Joseon era (1392-1910), who learns how to use a Western rifle and becomes a heroic gunman.

The series premiere of “Joseon’s Gunman” will air on June 25, and the show is set to have 20 episodes.
