New Year’s party at J.J. Mahoney’s

Grand Hyatt Seoul’s J.J. Mahoney’s is holding year-end party “6IX SNOW NIGHTS AT JJ’S” the last week of December. The party will invite guests to the club hall decorated with a winter theme to enjoy a variety of events, including live performances by J.J.’s house band Storm and a guest DJ, and a dance contest. A lucky draw will be held during the party, offering coupons to use facilities at Grand Hyatt Seoul. On Dec. 31, guests will get to countdown to 2014 on the hotel’s ice rink with a bowl of a rice soup to stay warm in the cold. All party guests will receive a complimentary welcome cocktail and a 2014 J.J. Mahoney’s mascot doll. The party is scheduled to be held on Dec. 21, 24, 27, 28 and 31. Romantic Christmas at Renaissance Seoul

The Renaissance Seoul Hotel presents a Christmas package for Christmas week and New Year’s Eve. The “Christmas Romance Package,” starting at 314,000 won (exclusive of tax and service charge), includes a deluxe room, breakfast for two at Café Elyse, and complimentary chocolate praline, four bottles of Bernini wine and two cans of Pringles provided as room service. The package allows guests to enjoy one in-room movie, access to the recreation center and indoor pool and sauna. Begin New Year with fun folk plays at Hyatt Regency Incheon

Hyatt Regency Incheon offers a New Year’s accommodation package that invites guests to begin the New Year with fun Korean traditional folk plays. The first type of the “New Year Play Package,” available from Jan. 24- Feb. 2, includes a one-night stay in a guestroom, breakfast for two at Restaurant 8 and free entry to the paper craft class, as well as free access to the swimming pool and fitness center. The second type includes all the benefits of the first package along with an additional complimentary dinner for two adults. The hotel offers 70,000 won discounts on early bookings made by Jan. 17. Gourmet Collection at The Shilla Seoul

The Parkview, an international buffet restaurant at The Shilla Seoul, presents an array of gourmet specials made with the best quality ingredients until Dec. 31. The restaurant included grilled lobster, tuna belly sushi and fresh abalone, grilled king prawn and sweet and sour Wagyu on the menu. The dinner is served with wine and Champagne selected by the hotel’s sommeliers. The restaurant also invites guests to the outdoor terrace The Park, decorated with Christmas trees and candles. Guests can enjoy winter deserts such as hot chocolate, grapefruit tea, mulled wine, hot chocolate and the fruit cake Stollen in front of a warm fireplace.

Sunday brunch at Grand Hilton Seoul

Grand Hilton Seoul introduces a Sunday brunch menu at The Atrium Café for those looking for a relaxing Sunday. Located on the first basement floor, the café offers a variety of fresh salads, soups, deserts and fruits along with the main dish. The main dishes include beef tenderloin in port wine sauce and abalone, salmon steak with spinach and scrambled egg or lobster with hollandaise sauce. A glass of sparkling wine or fresh fruit juice is also served. The Sunday brunch is available until Fec. 28 and is priced from 43,000 won to 70,000 won, including tax and service charge.
