Public concern about climate change in Korea has declined since 2010, with the proportion of Koreans who are “very concerned” declining to 48 percent this year from 68 percent, according to a survey released Sunday by Pew Research Center.

Turkey saw the sharpest decline in the proportion of the public that is concerned about climate change - from 74 percent to 37 percent - followed by China (41 percent to 18 percent), Japan, Poland and Russia.

On the other hand, the proportion of people concerned about climate change increased in the U.S. (to 45 percent) and France (to 56 percent).

The 2015 survey covered 12 countries - the same as in 2010 - to compare the public concern about climate change.
