1. No way! 절대 안 돼! = Not in a million years = Nothing doing! = Not on your life = Over my dead body!
2. He got fired (dismissed). 그는 해고 됐어요. = They let him go
3. Be on time = Be punctual. 시간 잘 지켜.
4. You‘re dressed up, what’s the occasion? 쫙 빼 입었네, 어디 가니? 좋은 일 있니?

18. make (both) ends meet 수지를 맞추다 = balance the budget We can’t even make ends meet with only one child. 우리는 한명의 아이로는 수지를 맞출 수가 없다.
19. tie the knot 결혼하다 = get married I‘m tying the knot next month. 다음 달에 결혼하려고 합니다.
20. take one’s breath away. 기막히게 하다
A wonderful rainbow we saw yesterday really took my breath away. 어제 보았던 무지개는 나를 기막히게 했다.
