Hanroro will hold her first arena concerts in January, marking a major step in her career following a string of chart successes and growing demand for her live performances.
The singer-songwriter announced Friday on her official social media accounts that her fifth solo concert, "Question Mark," will take place at Inspire Arena in Incheon on Jan. 2 and 3, 2027. Tickets will go on sale at 6 p.m. on Nov. 13.
The upcoming shows mark her first performances at an arena-sized venue, following a steady progression from small live halls to larger concert venues.
Hanroro held her first solo concert in September 2023 at KT&G Sangsangmadang Hongdae Live Hall in Seoul, a venue with a capacity of around 400, to celebrate the release of her debut EP, "Strange Flight."
She went on to perform at Nodeul Island Live House in 2024 and Yes24 Live Hall in 2025, before drawing a cumulative audience of approximately 9,000 across two sold-out shows at Korea University's Hwajeong Gymnasium that November.
Her upcoming performances at Inspire Arena, which can accommodate around 10,000 spectators, represent another leap in scale, just over three years after her first solo concert.
The expansion comes amid growing mainstream recognition for Hanroro, whose songs "Landing in Love" and "0+0" ranked first and second, respectively, on South Korea's Circle Chart digital ranking for the first half of 2026. Both tracks gained popularity well after their initial releases, with "Landing in Love" dating back to 2023 and "0+0" appearing on her 2025 EP, "Jamong Salgu Club." She also released the single "You and I" in July.
Hanroro has also expanded her presence in Japan this year, performing at the Summer Sonic 2026 music festival before holding her first solo concert in Tokyo on Oct. 8. The 18-song show at Shibuya Pleasure Pleasure sold out, underscoring her growing appeal beyond South Korea.
The concert's title, "Question Mark," draws on the questions Hanroro has encountered while trying to make sense of the world around her. Exploring themes of uncertainty and empathy, the show aims to encourage audiences to reflect on their own questions and answers.
Known for her introspective lyrics about the emotions and struggles of young adulthood, Hanroro has built a following through her distinctive brand of indie rock and emotionally resonant live performances.
