Blackpink's Rose is teaming up with Apple for her upcoming song "New Trick," her agency The Black Label said Thursday.
The music video for "New Trick" will continue Apple's Shot on iPhone campaign, using the latest iPhone 18 Pro. The video was directed by Dave Meyers, who also directed Blackpink's "Jump."
Rose shared a 15-second teaser on her Instagram on Thursday, showing her holding a purple lollipop with the words "new trick" and "Shot on iPhone 18 Pro" on it.
"This song was written during a hectic week, I think two days after the Met Gala in New York,” Rose told Vogue. “Ultimately, we successfully wrote something so not sad, and I think it is possibly the cutest thing we’ve ever made together. ... Maybe ‘Apt.’ is the cutest, but y’all can judge that for me!”
The full track will be out at 8 a.m. on Sept. 18 in Korea.
