Exo’s Baekhyun, Chen and Xiumin filed a lawsuit against their agency INB100, seeking to suspend their exclusive contracts, according to legal sources on Monday.

A district court in Seoul is holding a hearing the same day, it added.

The trio, known as Exo’s first subunit CBX, announced in April that they would terminate their contracts with the agency, citing unpaid settlements among other reasons. A formal notice had been sent in March.

Baekhyun founded INB100 in 2023, and the two bandmates joined in January 2024. Months later, the agency was absorbed into One Hundred Label, headed by Cha Gawon, who was recently indicted for fraud worth 30 billion won ($22.3 million). The first hearing in her trial is set for October.

In January, Exo dropped its eighth full-length album, “Reverxe,” its first album in 2 1/2 years, but the three members could not participate amid a prolonged legal dispute between INB100 and SM Entertainment.
