[DISCLOSURE] SK Materials (036490) said on Sept. 12 that it has decided to invest 45.5 billion won (US$40.9 million) in expanding and further developing its tungsten hexafluoride (WF6) plant.
Tungsten hexafluoride is a specialty gas used in the semiconductor industry. The investment amounts to 12.1 percent of the firm’s equity capital and the investment period is from Nov. 11, 2016 to Sept. 30, 2017.
