[DISCLOSURE] Access Bio (950130) -- which specializes in research, development and manufacturing of in vitro rapid diagnostic tests, biosensor and molecular diagnostic products -- has received 2 billion won (US$ 1.82 million) from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

The foundation will provide funds until Feb. 1, 2018, to support its research and development to improve sensitivity of malaria diagnostic methods, the company added.
