The first game of the 2025 KBO Korean Series between the LG Twins and Hanwha Eagles at Seoul’s Jamsil Stadium completely sold out, with all 23,750 seats filled.
The Korean Series is South Korea’s professional baseball championship, similar to MLB’s World Series, where the season’s top teams compete for the title. LG advanced directly as regular-season champions, while Hanwha earned its spot by defeating the Samsung Lions 3:2 in the playoffs.
Sunday's game marked the 33rd consecutive sell-out for Korean Series openers.
